What's new

Install plugins into your Space

Community installation links and .eidos-plugin files open plugin details in the main window. Review the target Space and requested access before installing. If Lite is closed, it reopens the last Space; open a Space to continue when that folder is unavailable.

A first installation enables the plugin in that Space. Updates preserve existing enablement, and automatic background startup still requires separate permission. Theme plugins continue to apply throughout Lite.

Improvements

  • Device Sync compatibility: Compatible paired mobile apps can request committed Local history from this computer. Save a Local checkpoint to make pending changes available for transfer.
  • Windows file properties: A compact properties window shows readable file locations and sizes, with native close controls and standard keyboard closing.

Bug fixes

  • Table search: Pressing Escape returns focus to the grid so you can navigate cells and immediately search again, including repeated search sessions.
Keep working after table search — Recorded in Eidos Lite 0.31.1 on macOS using synthetic data. Demonstrates the search focus improvement introduced in 0.31.0.

Bug fixes

Plugin state after restarting macOS

Fixes an issue where restarting macOS could make enabled plugins appear disabled and plugin history appear empty in an existing Space. Lite now preserves the Space's plugin enablement, settings, background permissions and stored plugin data across restarts.

If a Space was already affected before this update, its earlier state may require separate recovery.
